Tropical Disturbance Moving into Gulf of Mexico by Wednesday

A tropical disturbance is moving over Cuba and South Florida toward the Gulf of Mexico and is showing signs of strengthening. 

National Hurricane Center meteorologists estimate there is a 30% chance of tropical development in the next 48 hours and a 40% chance in the next five days. 

The system is currently moving west-northwest and expected to enter the central Gulf of Mexico by Wednesday.
