Tropical Storm Warnings Issued for Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands

Potential Tropical Storm Nine is expected to bring heavy rains and mudslides to a drought-stricken Puerto Rico. 

The National Hurricane stated, “Tropical Storm conditions are likely across portions of the Leeward Islands, the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico Wednesday through Thursday.” 

The storm is currently east of the Lesser Antilles, moving west at 25 mph. There is a high probability of Tropical Formation in the next 48 hours. Once the system becomes a tropical storm, it would be named Isaias.
